The Subscriber Portal is used by your subscribers to sign-up and/or manage their own Omnilert subscriber accounts.
To configure and customize your Subscriber Portal, visit Settings >> Subscriber Portal on the main menu.
The Settings tab of the configuration screens allows you to enable/disable the portal.
To disable the entire subscriber portal (both the login and sign-up pages), select Hide subscriber portal.
To leave the login page enabled, but hide the sign-up page, select Hide subscriber portal signup page.
Vistors will see a message informing them that "there is no portal for this account".
Why hide just the sign-up page?
In cases where you are creating logins for your subscribers, but also want to allow those subscribers to log in and update their info, use the Hide subscriber portal signup page option.
This can provide added security by restricting access for subscribers, as all accounts would need to be created by your admins, via upload, etc.
Note: If you'd used previous versions of Omnilert (e2Campus/Amerilert), this function replicates the "SmartCode Security" feature's ability to prevent user logins or account creation via the web.
