Note: This article designed and intended for the Omnilert Notify SE version of Omnilert.
Endpoints are the various destinations for your outgoing messages.
As the administrator, you have some configuration options to review. You can choose to set delivery methods as "active" (usable) or "inactive" (not used).
Manage endpoints on the Endpoints menu.
There are 3 endpoints to configure in this version of Omnilert:
SMS and Email will be configured as "Active" by default. If your organization has a Twitter account and you'd like to enable Twitter as an endpoint, it'll be located in the "Inactive" list. (You'd need to configure twitter and then make the endpoint "active".)
Active Endpoints
Active Endpoints are the endpoints that are currently in-use/available when sending messages.
To adjust an endpoint's settings, click on its name in the list.
Inactive Endpoints
Inactive endpoints are available to be configured (if needed). In this version of Omnilert, Twitter is available to be configured, but not yet set up. (You'll need your organization's Twitter login credentials to set up Twitter.)
To configure an endpoint, click on its name in the list.
Once configured, you can make an endpoint active by checking its box in the list and then choosing "Activate" from the menu.
Inactive endpoints will not be visible on the "Send Message" page.
