Once a new action has been created (see "Adding an Action"), you'll need to edit the action to use it. New actions will appear in the Scenario Manager > Actions list.
To edit an action, just click on its name in the list. You can edit the Action's Details , Message , or Scenarios .
Composing an Action's Message
The most critical component of an Action is the message the action will send. So, let's take a look at the Message portion of our example Action.
This will open the standard message composition window.
Simply compose the message and save it with the Save message button.
Attaching an Action to a Scenario
An action must be attached to one or more scenarios to use it. Click to view all of the current scenarios. Then simply check the boxes for any desired scenarios.
Activating an Action
Finally, if the action was created as "Inactive", it needs to be made "Active".
Simply return to the Scenario Manager > Actions list and set the filter at the top to show "Inactive" actions. Then check the box next to the desired Action. Finally, select "Activate" from the menu at the top of the list.
