Automated alerts

Does anyone have suggestions on the best way to automate weather alerts?

We were using iNWS from NOAA to send a trigger email but those stopped working (NWS started sending emails in HTML format). We tried switching to Accuweather but the long trigger email address from Omnilert was being truncated so those didn't work.

Any thoughts are appreciated!

  Hi April,

  I know this post has been sitting here for a while. (Sorry about that!)

  I do have some good news: We have a new option where we (Omnilert support) can generate a customized, shorter email address for an SMTP trigger. (This was set up to help in situations just like the one you'd run into with Accuweather.)

  So, if you'd like to re-visit this at some point, let us know!

  Thanks for the update! I'd like to try that with alerts from iNWS or Accuweather. I'll give it a go and let you know if I have any questions.
