Panic Button Alert Enhancements

Today we're making available an enhancement for all Omnilert Safety App customers to provide you with a record of your Subscriber's Panic Button use, and soon will be releasing an optional upgrade to enable your organization with tools to proactively manage your team's panic event response.

Enhancement available now
All Omnilert Safety App customers, with the Panic Button enabled for their Subscribers, will now receive a record of their Subscriber's use of the Panic Button, via a new "Alerts" event filter directly on the Timeline. This will allow you to get a sense of its overall use in your organization, as well as create a record of the event including Subscriber information, their location, and how they chose to communicate their urgent issue based on the options you've made available to them in the app.  

You'll also notice that the configuration for the Panic Button will have moved to its own tab within the App Endpoint configuration. While this small change in location has no impact on any live or in-progress implementation, it enables us to further iterate on the Panic Button capability, with some exciting new capabilities.

Coming Soon: Actionable natively integrated prevention capability

For those organizations who prefer an active preventative role in response to your constituent's urgent/panic events, the Panic Button will soon be able to be enhanced with our Priority Alert capability.

With this update enabled for your organization, a Subscriber's panic event immediately delivers an actionable location-enabled alert card to a pre-designated group with prevention-focused tools for awareness, response, and compliance—all, with no download required for you or your subscribers.
