Introducing Omnilert Engage
We're excited to announce the availability of Omnilert Engage—a range of unique capabilities that enable small teams to enter into rich two-way interactions with user communities of any size.
Typically, organizations we hear from are faced with a choice when determining how to best engage with their community and, importantly, what role they want their constituents to play as an incident occurs. Choices typically include:
- Multi-channel broadcast messages are efficient, but must treat every recipient the same, and provide no information back to the organization
- 1-on-1 communication which is highly targeted and specific, but requires a commitment of resources that simply does not scale when you need to assess any situation impacting more than a handful of your people
- Tip Reporting, a helpful force multiplier, but one that too often relies on your constituents having a mobile application and the presence of mind to initiate the tip. Beyond this, tips rely on reactive and in depth 1-on-1 conversations to get the concise and specific information you need.
Given the lack of resources, most organizations end up using general, broadcast messages and limited 1-on-1. At Omnilert, we believed there could be a better approach that allowed rich communication between small teams and their large user communities.
With Omnilert Engage, we're presenting a new model we call Mass Engagement to help teams of any size easily create and effectively manage rich two-way interactions with audiences of any size. Through a process we refer to as group triage, you'll automatically subdivide your user community via questions, providing critical input as you manage an incident. You can easily address each group of users independently to give them the best instructions or probe for additional information. You can visualise their location and status on a real-time map and dashboard. And, best of all, this works with or without your users having the Omnilert app installed, so you can ensure you’re engaging with 100% of your community.
Engage is powerful but intuitive and easy to use. An initial message to your subscriber base serves as a jumping off point for assessing the status of people in different locations and situations, providing them with the most helpful targeted instructions, allowing you to understand the scale of an unfolding incident and visualizing the impact of your communication efforts.
