In order to receive alerts from Omnilert Notify SE, subscribers must self-register and add/verify their devices (cell phone and/or email).
This video provides a brief walkthrough on how to sign up for Omnilert Notify SE alerts using the Subscriber Portal.
How to Subscribe for Omnilert Alerts
Your organization should provide you with a link or URL to the Subscriber Portal for their Omnilert Notify SE system. Click that link to be brought a page similar to the one shown below.
The main page has a "Log in" form for current subscribers to log in and update their information. Since you're a new subscriber, just click Sign Up in the upper-right corner.
Adding notification devices to your Subscriber account
Once you've created your account, you can add your text messaging (mobile phone #) and email address to your account.
Enter your full, 10-digit phone number. (US carriers only.)
Then select your carrier from the "Carrier" list, or just select "Default" if you aren't sure. (Default works for all major US carriers.)
Omnilert will text a 4-digit validation code to your number.
You must receive the code and enter it into the website to activate your alerts.
When you're all set, your number will appear as "active":
Adding an email address is similar to adding your phone: Just enter the email address in the space provided and Omnilert will send you a validation email with a link to click to validate your address.
After adding your email address, check your inbox for a validation email from firstname.lastname@example.org (You may need to check your spam/junk folder)
You'll see a Validate button to click to verify your email address. Click the button to enable future email alerts from Omnilert.
