Yes. Omnilert's Endpoints can be renamed.
It's often desirable to rename an endpoint to something that makes more sense for your local admins when sending a message.
For example, you might use the "SEED" endpoint to send to an "Everyone" email distribution list at your school. In that case, it'd make more sense to change the name of SEED to something like "All Campus Emails". This lets the sender see a more familiar label on their Send Message screen.
Here's how to change an endpoint's name:
- Log in as a Super Admin
- Go to Endpoints > Active on the main menu (or Inactive if the endpoint isn't active yet.)
- Click on the desired endpoint's name in the list.
- Then enter the desired name in the space provided and click "Update details" to save the change to the endpoint's name.
